“All The Feels”
Curated by Max Kauffman
Hannah Stouffer– Opening January 7th 9pm
Stouffer is known for her intricately executed imagery and shadowy and ethereal themes. Her work presents a balance of feminine embellishments and naturalistic, metaphysical motifs. Stouffer is identified as both a commercial and fine art illustrator, having maintained a strong presence in both fields, simultaneously showing her work as an exhibiting artist while exploring her ever-ending pursuit of illustrating emotional transcendence.
Max Kauffman– Opening January 14th 9pm
My work is a release – akin to meditation, a relief from the chaos of our day to day lives. Over the last two years, houses and architecture have become the zenith of my work. They are sanctuaries…somewhere to catch up, take a breath, recharge. The world I portray is sometimes yours and mine and sometimes a more magical place – I call it future primitive. It is a potential path or maybe just a way to reconnect with more pure ideas of culture from our past. It is knowing empires crumble, but accepting the growth that emerges in the aftermath.
John Fellows– Opening January 21st 9pm
John Fellows crafts work in the great line of folk imagery. Using linocut and a background in graphic design he creates art with a humorous and nostalgic tinge. His work is build up with found maps, letters, cut paper, doodles and printing. Sea faring vessels, beards and the freedom of the open road pervade his creations.
